Joy radiated from the faces of the K1 bilingual class children as they participated in an outing class at Sukorambi Botanical Garden, Jember. This activity was a fun and meaningful learning experience, as the students not only played but also learned directly from nature.
Upon arriving at the location, the children were enthusiastic about exploring the beautiful garden area, rich in biodiversity. One of the most interesting activities was harvesting avocados directly from the orchard. With great enthusiasm, they learned about the plant growth process, how to pick fruit properly, and the importance of preserving nature.
Not only that, the excitement was complete when the children enjoyed swimming together. Laughter and cheers filled the air, creating a warm moment of togetherness among friends.

Their adventure continued with a visit to the various animal and plant collections at the Sukorambi Botanical Garden. The children were introduced to various types of animals and plants, thereby expanding their knowledge of the world of flora and fauna. This activity served as an effective means of contextual learning, as the children were able to see and interact directly with the objects they were studying.

Through this outing class, the students not only gained new knowledge, but also learned about courage, curiosity, cooperation, and gratitude for the beauty of God's creation.

This activity proves that learning does not always have to take place in the classroom. When children are given the opportunity to learn from nature, they grow into more caring, exploratory, and enthusiastic individuals. After all, experience is the best teacher, and every small step they take today is a stepping stone toward a brighter future. 🌿✨
